Use Opacus
Getting paid
Share your address or its QR code, ask for an amount with a request, or split a bill between friends.
Your address and its code
Choose Receive. Under Address are your Opacus address, its QR code and Copy my address. Anyone with an Opacus account can pay it privately: only you see what arrives. A phone's camera opens the code as a way to pay you.
Your Opacus address is not a Solana wallet address, and Solana wallets cannot pay it. To fund your balance from your own wallet, use Deposit.
A 117-character address is hard to read out. A short name like @ada is not: claim one from Receive, under the address.
Asking for an amount
Under Request, pick the asset, type an amount and what it is for, and copy the request. It is a link, with its own QR code. Whoever opens it sees who asks, how much and what for, and pays it privately in one tap, from their own balance. If their balance is short, they can deposit on the same page first.
You can leave the amount empty, and the payer types it.
A request carries your Opacus address, the amount and your note, in the open, to whoever you send it. Paying it is private: nobody else sees who paid or how much.
Splitting a bill
Under Request, set Split between, you included to the number of people, and type the whole bill. Each person is asked for an equal share: a bill of 120 between 4 people asks each of the others for 30.
Copy the request with Copy and follow the split, and send the same link to everyone. Your home screen shows the split under Bills split: how many shares are paid so far, and the link again for anyone who has not paid. When everyone has paid, choose Done, or Put away at any time.
The app counts the shares from your own history: payments received since, of that asset and that share, with the split's note. Nothing about a split is on Solana.
On a website
Selling something? Receive, then Website, gives you a "Pay with Opacus" button for your page. See Pay with Opacus, on a website.
