Use Opacus

Private swaps

Turn SOL into test dollars, or back, without leaving the pool. The market sees a swap, never who made it.

How a swap works

Choose Swap, pick what goes in, and type how much. Before you confirm, the app shows the market's quote: how much comes back, the least you will accept, the price, and every fee. Then one tap.

The pool itself trades with the market, from inside: your SOL never goes back to your wallet, and what comes back goes straight into your private balance. If the price moves below the least you accept before the swap lands, nothing happens and your money stays where it was. Then quote again.

On the testnet the pool trades through a market on Raydium's constant product market maker (CPMM), opened for the testnet with SOL and test dollars.

What is public

Public Private
that the pool swapped, how much went in and how much came back whose swap it was
the two assets and the market your wallet, your balance, your history

The relayer signs and pays for the swap, so no wallet of yours appears in it.

Good to know

  • The least you accept is 1% below the quote. A swap that would move the market's price by 25% or more is refused: the market is too thin for it.
  • The testnet's market is small. It opened with 5 SOL and 750 tUSD, so a swap of 10 tUSD moves its price by about 1.3%. Anyone on devnet can trade it, so its price drifts from the real one.
  • Amounts are public. A swap of exactly what you deposited a moment ago could be matched to that deposit. The app points it out when a swap is of exactly what this account deposited in the last day, and a round amount helps.
  • The fee: the relayer takes its cash-out fee in what goes in (0.001 SOL or 0.1 tUSD on the testnet), and the market keeps its own trading fee.
