Use Opacus
Paying many people
A payroll, freelancers or suppliers, from one private balance: a list of names and amounts, each paid privately, and nobody paid twice.
Writing the list
Choose Pay many people, then To a list. Pick the asset, and write one line a person, or paste the lines from a spreadsheet:
Ada, opacus1..., 1200
Grace, link, 950
@alan, 400
Linus, 300
- A name, an Opacus address and an amount pays that address. The name is for you only.
- A name, the word
linkand an amount makes a payment link for that person, to send them yourself. - A short name and an amount, like
@alan, 400, pays the address the name points to when the list is checked. - One of your people and an amount, like
Linus, 300, pays the address you kept them under.
A list takes up to 50 lines. Add a note every person reads with their payment, like "October salary".
Checking, then paying
Check the payments reads every line, finds each name, and adds up the total against your private balance. A line it cannot read says why. Then pay: each line is an ordinary private payment, sent one after another, a few seconds each. You can watch each line turn paid.
Nobody paid twice
Each line's payment is worked out from your account and the list before it is sent, so the app knows which lines the pool already holds. If the page closes half way, a line fails, or a daily limit stops the list, open it again: the home screen shows Continue, and the app pays only the lines that are not paid yet.
Next month, start from an earlier list: it is kept in your browser, with its names, addresses and amounts.
What each person sees
Each person sees only their own payment and the note. Nobody sees the others on the list, the total, or who paid. On Solana, the list looks like a run of payments inside the pool at that time, with nothing of their amounts, their asset or who was paid.
The names you give the lines, and the lists you keep, never leave your browser.
